Sandra Celaya-Day is a board member for National Latina/Latino Commission (NLLC) and is an ordained Chaplain. For more than 25 years, Sandra has worked and traveled extensively as a personal assistant to Reverend Eve Nunez. Together, they have hosted events sponsored by the NLLC; in particular, Sandra has dedicated herself to working with the NLLC's mentoring program, which encourages and trains youth in the seven sphere's of influence: education,  church, family, media, government, entertainment, and business.
Sandra has also worked with Help4Kidz, an inner-city outreach and mentoring program for at-risk children and teens, founded by Rev. Nunez. Sandra has produced dance programs and taught dance workshops for the Help4Kidz foundation as well as other non-profits. With a BFA in performance and choreography and Graduate of Arizona State University , Sandra has decades of experience in choreography and performance, specializing in creating productions with an inspiring Christian message.
Using her gifts and talents to encourage and help those in need is a reason she works extensively with Rev. Eve and her foundations. A scripture that sums up her work is Isaiah 61:1: The Spirit of The Lord is upon me because he has anointed me to preach good tidings to the poor, bind up the broken hearted, proclaim freedom to the captives, and the opening of prison doors to those who are bound.
